Girl Crush - Tony Award Beauty 2015

The Tony Awards were last night (yay!!) and there was so much pretty happening on the red carpet - though I have to be honest that the internet is full of pictures of beautiful women who attended the Tony Awards but have nothing to do with American Theatre, so I tried to keep it to women who are IN the theatre so here we go -

Bold Lips:

Chita Rivera's (The Visit) bold red lip matched her dress and wrap

Gretchen Mol (Disgraced) was giving you a classic brick lip

I loved Vanessa Hudgens' (Gigi) Heidi braid and tomato lip

Leann Cope (An American in Paris) danced BEAUTIFULLY and wore a berry lip on the carpet

Elizabeth Moss' (The Heidi Chronicles) whole situation made me so happy - she just looked like spring and flowers and pink - loved!

Lisa Kron (Fun Home) had beautiful skin and a berry lip

Patricia Clarkson (The Elephant Man) pulled the red from her dress in her lip choice

I thought Ruth Wilson's (Constellations) choice of wearing a fuchsia dress and pairing it with a red lip was a fun one

Lydia Leonard (Wolf Hall) had immaculate skin and a berry lip

I LOVED Geneva Carr's (Hand of God) whole look - hair, makeup, dress - the whole nine

Victoria Clark (Gigi) looked like a movie star with her honey hair, deep lip and navy dress - gorgeous!

Fun Eyeliner:

Patina Miller (formerly in Pippin) went with a clean face with a thicker liner and lashes

Amanda Seyfried (The Way We Get By) also had clean skin and fully rimmed eyes that made her blue eyes pop

Annaleigh Ashford (You Can't Take it With You) looked SO PRETTY!  Winged liner, glowy skin, nude lip - I loved it

Nudes:

I appreciate that Sutton Foster always is true to her aesthetic of being natural but polished

And Bernadetter Peters is 68 ya'll - USE YOUR SUNSCREEN and you too can look like this

Carey Mulligan (Skylight) went for a soft lip shade that pulled from her dress color

Helen Mirren (The Audience) always looks gorgeous and her watermelon lip with a pink cheek was perfect with her white dress

Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home) looked like a beachy bronzey natural beauty on the red carpet

She won!!!  Kelli O'Hara (The King and I) always goes classic but did do a heavier eyeliner than usual and I thought she looked stunning.

I thought Kristin Chenowith (On the Twentieth Century) looked so pretty in her silver dress and natural makeup

Laura Osnes had a beautiful raspberry lip

Don't you love this face?! Sydney Lucas (Fun Home) wore age appropriate makeup for her first Tony nomination

And Ruthie Ann Miles (The King and I) gave you a soft smoky with a contoured cheek - yes please!

Girl Crush - Lauren Miller Rogen Shoot

Lauren Miller Rogen
My dear friend, JT Franchuk, and I did a shoot with the awesome girls over at Le Curate and the super chill, super funny, Lauren Miller Rogen was our model for the day who happens to be super funny and also happens to be married to Seth Rogen.  I had just watched "For a Good Time Call" which she wrote and starred in so we had a gab-fest about that and her dream for revamping "Troop Beverly Hills" - yes please!  Here are some of the pics:

Girl Crush - The Ladies of Fashion on Broadway

Isabel Leonard, George Brescia, Kate Baldwin, Randi Rahm
On the last day of Fashion Week my dear friend, George Brescia, hosted "Fashion on Broadway" at Lincoln Center (and did a book signing for his new book Change Your Clothes, Change Your Life..because you can't go naked!) and I got to do the makeup for the beautiful Broadway starlets - here are some pics!

Courtney Reed plays Jasmin in "Aladdin" and has THE most beautiful skin!  She's wearing my Red Lipstick, Onyx Eyeliner and Mineral Foundation in Natural Beige.

Elizabeth Stanley plays Claire DeLoone in the upcoming "On The Town" (I can't wait!) and was working a fun rocker look - love!  She's wearing my Tender Beige Mineral Foundation, Mineral Blush in Impatiens and Lipstick in Pure.

My classic beauty, Kate Baldwin, is in rehearsals for Papermill's Broadway Bound "Can-Can" playing Pistache (so excited to see it!) and was as warm and yummy as ever.  She's wearing my Spice Lipstick, Afternoon Delight Cheek Duo for contour, Magic Dust cheek highlight  and Mineral Liquid Powder Foundation in Linen.

Leslie Kritzer was full of so much joy and I loved meeting her and just closed "Piece of My Heart".  She's wearing a mix of Passion Plum and Coral Crush Mineral Lipglosses, Mineral Blush in Tulip and Mineral Eyeshadow in Sunset.

Girl Crush - Uprising of Love Benefit Concert

I got to be a part of an amazing benefit last night, Uprising of Love: A Benefit Concert for Global Equality, whose proceeds went to Fueling the Frontlines, an LGBTI rights group led by the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice.  My team of awesome artists, Jody Formica and Neil Scibelli, and I got to paint some super talented faces - here's a look!

Stephanie J. Block sang "For Good" with Stephen Schwartz and the cast of Wicked and it was AMAZING.  She's wearing Erin's Faces Mineral Liquid Powder Foundation in Pale Beige, Mineral Blush in Tulip, and Lipstick in Pure/Mineral Lipgloss in Enchanted.

The legend that is Patti LuPone sang "Being Alive" and "Not While I'm Around" - watching from the wings was a huge treat!  She's wearing my Mineral Concealer in Light/Medium, Aloe Powder and Gerber Mineral Blush.

Stephanie and Celina Jaitly shared a dressing room and I Magic Dusted Celina all over so she looked like a shimmery Barbie :).  Celina sang her song "The Welcome" from an inspiring video she did with the United Nations.

Neil did Jane Lynch's makeup and kept her fresh and beautiful so she could host the evening in style.

Country singer, Chely Wright, looked luminous after spending some time with Jody and sang "It Was".

Did I mention Sting was there??!  We didn't touch him but watching him sing from the wings was one of THE coolest things EVER.

Such a wonderful evening!!

B-Sides Productions Broadway Gala

Max Kumangai, Brent Di Roma, Kilty Reidy, Teal Wicks, Kimberly Marable and Lael Van Keuren
I had a wonderful time getting to work with an awesome new theatre company founded by Jasper Grant, B-Sides Productions, who had their annual gala this winter.  The proceeds went to the Ali Forney Center, a wonderful facility that houses LGBT youth here in NYC.

They put together a wonderful group of Broadway singers to do a concert of Bill Russell and Janet Hood's "Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens" and Erin's Faces got to do the makeup for the performers and the beautiful women on their board.  Here's how it all turned out:

Getting the performers ready - Kimberly, Teal, me and Lael

Erin's Faces Artist, Kimberly Chin (middle) did Liz Asti (left) and Josey Roberts' (right) makeup.  Liz & Josey are amazing performers who are two of the three folks on the Advisory Board of the B-Sides (Amos Wolff being the third).

Josey and Liz looking tre glam out of their coats at the gala

I did Teal's makeup MANY moons ago so it was fun to get to do it again - she looks cute in a paper sack so it's pretty easy.

Lael was so sweet and has such pretty porcelain skin - loved her!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kimberly because I feel like it embodies the incredible amount of life she exudes.

The girls were AMAZING in the show!  The boys were pretty fantastic as well :) and that's founder, Jasper Grant, at the keys!

And a shout out to Maggie McNeil who was wearing her Erin's Faces Satin Lipstick in Red - isn't she beautimous?!!
